We have the three (3) level of care in our homes: Supervisory, Personal and Directed care. Each home is license for 10 residents except for Home 4 in Central Phoenix, 3 homes in Ahwatukee area East Phoenix.
Our homes has two (2) caregivers on the day shift 6am - 6pm and one (1) caregiver at night shift 6pm - 6am. No live-in Caregivers in the home. We cook the three meals, snacks in between, do laundry, make their bed, prepare and give their medicines on the indicated time. We provide assistance in their personal care or give total care like showers, bed bath, toothbrushing, nail cleaning, cutting and polish. We contracted a company and background check done to do the hair of the residents with families approval. We give care to Dementia, Alzheimer's residents, residents with heart problem like Congestive Heart Failure, Renal failure on dialysis, Diabetic, resident on wheelchair, walker, cane, bedridden residents, Cancer residents, arthritic, lung problems like Chronic Lung Disease, Asthma, amputee, Parkinson's, incontinent of bowel and bladder, confusion, Hospice residents, resident on oxygen, SVN treatments, feeders, tube feeders, foley catheter, minor decubitus, residents with pacemakers, high blood pressure, acucheck, sliding scale coverage with insulin, monitoring of the residents enough food intake, liquid intake, their outputs bowel and bladder, adequate rest/sleeping.
Physical therapists, home health nurses and Hospice nurses come to our homes as ordered.
Activities: passive or active range of motion, chair exercises, light weights, walking on the back or front yard or two-three houses down depending on each case, movies, video games like on the Wii which has (bowling, tennis, boxing, baseball, golf, soccer,etc.), bingo, card, throwing balls, karaoke singing, drawing, coloring, puzzle, legos, crochet/knitting, group story telling session: sharing their experiences, memory of the past, their job, vacations, love ones, friends, places they've been that they enjoy to remember etc.
No residents has bedsore even if they are bedridden, prevention precautions are practice. Residents are feed or spoon-feed when they forget to eat like the Dementia/Alzheimer residents and other personal care that they don't remember anymore. Our homes/residents does not smell, well kept, tidy at all times. Families are assured that their love ones are given the proper care.
