Home Health Care is a series of services (Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Home Health Aide, and Nutritional Guidance) available to the patient in the home environment. Home health care is an affordable alternative to anextended hospital stay, nursing home or convalescent facility. Personal care at home has been shown to help speed a patient’s recovery from illness, injury or surgery. Quality of care is extremely important, and quality can differ between agencies.
